Depression
Depression affects millions of people around the world. I too suffered from depression for many years. I was even suicidal at one point in my life. I like many suffered in silence out of fear of being labeled as someone who was mentally ill. Sadly, depression can start as early as the age of 3 years old, but is most common in both men and women between the ages of 14 to 60.
What is depression?
Depression is being in a state of low mood that affects your life in many different ways. It can affect your thoughts, feelings, behavior. Depression can be brought on my many different reasons. Sometimes it is temporary and sometimes it can be long lasting.
For many years I have tried natural techniques with improving my mind using tons of different techniques. Reading tons of books on how to heal depression without medication. I found that these techniques worked for well me. Here are some of the things that helped me.

In my search to help myself with my depression, I found that breathing exercises worked to help with depression and any anxiety that crept up on me. Sit in a comfortable position and clear your mind. Slowly take a deep breath in, hold the breath for about 4 seconds, and slowly exhale.
There are also tons of all natural herbal supplements out there that work wonders. Some are better than others. You have to find the right one for you. Be careful with supplement that aren't from reputable companies or aren't all natural. I found a company with great customer service and high quality herbal products.

Meditation also works wonders with focusing your mind and trying to beat depression and anxiety.
