Your Core Cafe's Youtube Channel
For many years anytime I cooked I would pretend like I was on my very own cooking show. I would talk to the audience, make jokes, and be the star chef. Throughout the years I never did anything to attempt to make this a reality. I was ok just pretending like I was the star inside of my own home. Well there was the one time I tried to audition to be on masterchef That had to be the worst experience ever. They told us to make a signature dish and the judges would try it and pick people to move on to the next step. It was an extremely cold and snowy day. We stood around waiting for several hours. By te time it was my turn to go into the room with a group of people my food was absolutely cold. They lined us all up and a judge went around the room taking tiny bites of everyone's food. To the right of me was a guy who had the right idea. He came equipped with something to warm his food up and to the left of me a girl who made cupcakes out of the box and decorated them. As the judge got close she skipped me all together. I didn't know if this was intentional or what. When she was done tasting everyone's dish, I raised my hand to inform her she skipped me. She came over took a tiny bite and kept calling the names of the people that she wanted. I was so distraught. I felt I didn't even get a real chance.
At that moment, I decided I didn't have what it would take to be a tv chef. Today, thanks to the lovely internet, I don't need someone to judge me or pick me for my own show. I can create it all by myself. I don't care if I am not a famous tv cook or some famous star. Quite frankly, none of that matters to me anyway. I just want to do what makes me feel good and I have fun doing.
I am so elated to announce that Your Core Cafe's cooking channel will be up and running before the end of this month. My show can be exactly what I want it to be. So, I have decided to do a cooking show with a twist.
