Avoid Negativity!!!
Today's post is taken directly from my book, "Vacate Negativity". Enjoy! This book is available to be purchased on Amazon and my website Your Core Cafe.
There are the energies that you must stay away from, because they pollute your airspace and your mental happiness. Constantly harboring a sense of negativity in our lives can make us feel low and very unhappy.
Here are some things to avoid like the plague!
Stay away from the news. “Oh no,” many will say. “I need to stay current on what’s going on in the world.” Why? No, seriously, why do you need to know how many people were murdered today? Why do you need to know about terrorist activity that you quite frankly can’t do anything about? Why do you need to pollute your positive energies by hearing that yet another child was neglected by their parents? You don’t! I stay as far away from the news as I can. Ever since I was a little girl, just the sound of the reporters gave me this sad chill all over my entire body. I tend to internalize things more often than others, so negative energies really pollute my soul deeply.
Stay far, far away from negative people. Negative people are the worst. If you keep negative people in your circle, you are damning yourself to a crap-filled life. Negative people are the naysayers. They find only the bad in every situation. These people are a poison, and if you are poisoned by them, it may take a long time to recover.
Keep your anger at bay. Anger ruins the best of things, including relationships, the moods of others around you, and even your work. Being an angry individual will definitely stunt your growth.
Kill all jealousy and envy. I have lost what I thought would have been lifelong friendships because of jealousy and envy. Jealousy is a natural human emotion that lurks inside of us and causes us to be angry at someone else because of our own downfalls. When jealousy turns volatile, envy rears its nasty, giant head and gets dangerous. Look, there are always going to be people who have it better than you. Someone will always be richer, prettier, smarter, sexier, and so on. Here’s the other side to that, though; There are always people who aren’t as attractive as you are, or as well-off, smart, or lucky as you are. The bottom line is that you must stop comparing yourself to others and allowing yourself to be a jealous or envious person. Your life will thank you for it.
The worst enemy of them all is FEAR! I hate this bastard. We have a rather dysfunctional relationship. When I get tired of him, we break up. Then he works his way back into my life somehow. Finally, I got the nerve to end it for good. Fear tried to keep me from writing this book, then it tried to keep me from publishing this book. Fear will make your life absolutely miserable. You will be afraid to do anything good for yourself. This dirty, negative scum will make you doubt you are worth anything. If you allow fear to run your life, then you will only end up in ruins.
As you know, the subconscious mind takes in everything. These negative things will make you have to work even harder to stay positive.
Exercise: Fight Away the Negative
Start small and avoid the news for a week. This includes television, social media, newspapers, or any story that could penetrate your subconscious mind. If anyone tries to tell you any news stories, then politely ask them to stop. Foster change in your life by eliminating as much negativity as possible.
