Working Mom Vs. Stay At Home Mom

There is always this battle between working moms and stay at home moms it seems. What I don't understand is why are we competing? Why does another mom care so much about what another mom's situation is? I see all the time working moms attempting to insult stay at home moms because they feel they have double duty. Then stay at home moms attempt to bash working moms for dropping their kids off and only having to handle the home duties for a couple hours per day. Guess what all you moms out there? You all are hardworking, underpaid, and appreciated SUPERHEROS!

Look, there is no point comparing ourselves to each other. I personally have been on both sides of the fence. There are definitely pros and cons to being a working mom vs. stay at home mom. Most of the time I have been on the side of working from home and being home with the kids. So BAM! Looks like I have the best/worst of both worlds. I win! Just kidding. I absolutely love being able to be home with all of my children and raising them every step of the way. On the flip side I also equally love earning my own money and adding to the household providing. If I didn't bring a dime in, my husband wouldn't mind one bit. I am blessed just knowing that I can enjoy my little ones while they are here. Bottom line is being a mom is tough work. There will always be things we can do to improve and things that no one does for our children like we do. So rather your children are in daycare 9 hours a day or in your home 24 hours a day, you are still doing the best you can for your children. The goal is for us all to have children that are healthy and happy. Who cares what your mom status is!
