SUPER EASY HOMEMADE  MAC AND CHEESE (STOVE TOP)

    

Total Time: 25 min.

Servings: 6 servings

 

 

INGREDIENTS

•    1 package (7 ounces) elbow macaroni

•    1/2 teaspoon salt

•    A couple dashes of pepper

•    16 ounces of heavy whipping cream

•    8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded ( adding different cheeses can really make a different mac and cheese every time.)

•    Paprika, optional

 

 

DIRECTIONS

1.    Cook macaroni according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, bring heavy cream to a gentle boil. Stir in salt and pepper; gradually whisk in your cheese. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir 1-2 minutes longer or until thickened.

2.    Stir in cheese until melted. Drain macaroni; add to cheese sauce and stir to coat. If desired, sprinkle with paprika. Yield: 6 servings.

 

 

CHILI

    

Servings- 6-8

Total time- 3-6 hr

 

 

INGREDIENTS

 

•    1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef

•    One white onion, chopped

•    One small green bell pepper, chopped

•    Two garlic cloves, minced

•    2 (16-ounce) cans red kidney beans, rinsed and drained

•    2 (14-1/2-ounce) cans diced tomatoes

•    2 to 3 tablespoons chili powder

•    One teaspoon salt and pepper

•    1 can of each tomato sauce and tomato paste

•    1 full serrano pepper with seeds included

 

 

 

 

 

DIRECTIONS

 

1.    Cook first four ingredients in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until beef crumbles and is no longer pink; drain. Place mixture in 5-quart slow cooker; stir in beans and remaining ingredients. Cook at HIGH 3 to 4 hours or at LOW 5 to 6 hours.

 

2.  Serve with your favorite toppings. Such as; saltine crackers, cheddar cheese, green onions, sour cream, etc.

 

 

 

PARMESAN CHICKEN

    

Servings              -   5

Preparation time -    45 mimutes

 

INGREDIENTS

•     1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs

•     1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

•     two teaspoons Italian seasoning

•     One egg, beaten

•     Five skinless, boneless chicken breasts

•     

 

 

 

DIRECTIONS

1.    Preheat skillet with 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil

2.    In a medium bowl mix together the breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper on chicken breast. Dip chicken breasts in egg, then in breadcrumb mixture to coat.

3.    Pan fry until golden brown on each side. Flip 2 to 3 times.

Serve with extra parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
